When I was little my granny sat and hand wrote all her favorite recipes, made copies and gave them to her children. Not long after I got married my mom gave me her copy, I use all the time. That’s exactly where this recipe came from.
Granny definitely knew what she was doing, these cookies barely had time to set-up before we ate every single one of them.
Chocolate No-Bake Cookies
- 2 cups of sugar
- 3 tablespoons of cocoa
- 1 stick of butter
- 1/2 cup of milk
- 3 cups of oats
- 1/2 cup of peanut butter
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla
- Dash of salt
- Combine sugar, cocoa, milk butter, and salt. Bring to a rolling boil, boil for one minute
- Remove from heat, stir in remaining ingredients
- Drop spoonfuls on wax paper, let cool until hardened
